The Hellenic Community of the West Rand

is a small but dynamic community situated on the

West Rand of Johannesburg, South Africa.

Our community also include the 

Parish of St. Andrew the First Chosen.

Our community was started some 40 years ago by

a handful of dedicated and hardworking Greeks and Cypriots whose aim

it was to preseve the heritage, religion and culture of Hellenism

in this beautiful part of South Africa to the best of their abilities.

We honour them for their vision and their efforts.

Today we continue to share and build on their dream.
