The West Rand Hellenic Community has to two event facilities situated on the same premises as our Church. The facilities are ideal for all your social events like Weddings, Birthday Parties, Christenings, Conventions, Meetings, Concerts, etc.


Our facilities include the following

• A full-on modern kitchen which can be used by both halls for catering purposes.
• The Dimitrion Hall hosts a souvla kitchen with 200 skewers at a time.
• A walk-in fridge for large catering purposes.
• Bar facilities for both halls, including bar-fridges.
• Ample parking adjacent to the venues.
• All crockery, cutlery, tables and chairs are included in the hiring price. Tables are rectangular only. Linen can be hired at an additional cost.
• We provide basic set-up of tables and chairs before a function and clearing there-of afterwards. Cleaning is the responsibility of the persons who hire.

The Dimitrion Hall

The larger of the two halls, the Dimitrion Hall seats 350 to 400 guests.
Rental of this hall is R4 000.00 per function. A non-refundable deposit of the full amount is payable upon confirmation of reservation of the hall and the balance payable before the reception of the key for the function.

 


 





 
The St. Andrew’s Hall

The smaller of the two halls, this hall seats 100 to 120 guests.
Rental of this hall is R2 500.00 per function. A non-refundable deposit of the full amount is payable upon confirmation of reservation of the hall and the balance payable before the reception of the key for the function.
